Dr. House is an acupuncture physician and doctor of oriental medicine. He specializes in healing the body rather than masking and managing symptoms. Dr. House graduated from East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota (2004) and has practiced locally for more than seven years. In 2002, he completed a semester abroad in China where he received formal training to perform biopuncture. At the time, he was one of the first acupuncture physicians in the United States trained in this procedure. Biopuncture is the injection of a homeopathic, herbal, or nutritional solution into specific acupuncture points to speed up the healing process.
Dr. House is most known for his work in prolopuncture for joint injuries, neck, and back injuries. His work in this area focuses on stimulating the growth of human tissue in joints to repair arthritis, partially torn tendons, muscles, meniscus, cartilage, ligaments, labrium and other soft tissue injuries. His services also include homeopathy, herbology, nutritional counseling, and weight management. Dr. House is the “go to person,” when patients have exhausted all their options with Western medicine. Outside of NHA, Dr. House’s interests include biking, yoga, skiing, traveling, and the study of spirituality.
